Ville’s current main focus is at Kind Shark, which he co-founded together with Timo Okkonen in 2021 to serve customers in digitizing their businesses. Kind Shark has already supported nuclear organizations, among others, in digitizing their operations. Ville enjoys his role as a new entrepreneur, after many years in different positions and duties. This was something he was thinking about for quite some time, and now it has become the reality.

Ville is a digital advisory partner at Kind Atom. He has a long experience in digitizing business operations, as ranging from the core business and customer service processes to supportive corporate functions. In the nuclear branch, he can advise our customers in building lean and effective solutions for handling the multitude of interactions and information involved in running complex nuclear projects and high-quality operations.

Ville has a BSc degree in computer technology. He is born in 1981, lives in Espoo (Finland) and has a wife and four children.

Career and experience

Ville (LinkedIn) carries over 15 years of experience in digitizing businesses. He understands the perspectives of both the digital system suppliers and the needs of the users. He has spent most of his career in digitizing operations where technical safety and quality are in the middle of attention of both the experts and the management:

• Managing key customer accounts to make sure the digital platform deliveries and related projects succeeded well from the customer experience point of view (2019-2021);

• Digitizing field inspection operations, with a huge amount of assets in the database, by using state-of-the-art solutions that can integrate the customer service process to the internal experts dialogue and the customer contact interface (2015-2018);

• Consulting customers on different types of digitization projects by using a globally leading, cloud-based business platform and ecosystem (2013-2014);

• Planning for a new operational platform in a business where safety and quality experts could handle all their works based on customer contracts (2009-2012);

• Managing a project where many different field inspection disciplines were brought into a tailor-made operational system (2007-2009);

• Running basic software and ICT support duties and building custom-made digital solutions to enable effective field inspection works (2004-2006).
